We were delighted to join the fasteners and fixings community at the Torque Expo 2026, held at the Telford International Centre on Tuesday 12th May.

Torque Expo has firmly established itself as one of the most anticipated events in the UK fastener industry calendar, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, engineers, and procurement professionals under one roof for a day of meaningful industry engagement. For our team, it was an unmissable opportunity to be part of that conversation, and the event certainly did not disappoint.

A Showcase of Industry Excellence

The Telford International Centre provided a superb setting for what was a truly well-attended and well-organised exhibition. The energy across the show floor was immediately apparent, with professionals from across the supply chain coming together to explore the very latest developments in fastening technology, threaded fixings, structural fasteners, and precision engineered components.

Here at Rapid, we have always understood that the strength of our customer relationships is the true measure of our success, and events like Torque Expo serve as a timely reminder. Face-to-face engagement remains vital, even in an increasingly digital landscape. The conversations you have at an exhibition of this calibre are simply irreplaceable.

Connecting with Customers Old and New

One of the most rewarding aspects of the day was the opportunity to spend quality time with both long-standing customers and new contacts who stopped by our stand. Whether it was a familiar face we have worked alongside for many years or a new connection exploring what we have to offer, every conversation was genuinely valued.

The fasteners and fixings sector continues to evolve rapidly, with increasing demand for high-strength fasteners, stainless steel fixings, metric and imperial threaded fasteners, and specialist components that meet ever more demanding performance and compliance standards. These are conversations best had in person, and Torque Expo provided exactly the right environment in which to have them.

Building on the Momentum

We came away from Telford with a great sense of optimism. The conversations we had across the course of the day have opened doors to new possibilities, and we are already looking forward to following up on the connections made and progressing the discussions that were started.
