Across our Four Sites

We operate one dedicated Distribution Site and three Manufacturing Sites, employing a team of 45 skilled professionals who run more than 56 machines across our facilities. Every role plays a vital part in delivering precision and reliability.

From machine operators setting up high‑accuracy CNC lathes, to warehouse teams managing over 1,000 pallet locations. From technical sales specialists advising customers on the correct stainless steel grade for marine environments, to quality controllers inspecting every batch against our ISO 9001‑accredited quality management system. Our people are the foundation of everything we deliver.

Fastener manufacturing and distribution is, at its heart, a people business, and ours is one we’re immensely proud of.

Over 45 Years of Family-Owned Growth

Established in 1980, Rapid Industrial Fasteners remains a privately owned, family-run business, now trading for just over 45 years. We’ve successfully established ourselves as both a Manufacturer and Distributor, built on an unwavering commitment to innovation, agility, and a culture of honesty and hard work. A philosophy that runs through every one of our sites and every member of our team.

As both a Manufacturer and Distributor of fasteners and fixings, we occupy a fairly unique position in the UK market. Combining the flexibility of global sourcing with the precision of our own in-house manufacturing capability, producing bespoke fasteners and turned parts to individual drawings and specification.

Our reputation has been built project by project. Over the decades, our components have supported many of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and redevelopment programmes. From major transport hubs to large‑scale civil engineering works. It’s a track record we’re quietly proud of, and one that reflects the confidence leading contractors place in our quality systems and technical capability.

Our story is shaped by the industrial heritage of the Black Country, a region long recognised as one of the birthplaces of British metalworking. Stourbridge and its surrounding towns were once at the heart of the UK’s forging, tooling and precision‑manufacturing revolution. Supplying iron, steel and engineered components to railways, shipyards and heavy industries across the world.

It’s a legacy we feel closely connected to. Generations of craftsmen, machinists and toolmakers built a reputation for accuracy, durability and no‑nonsense manufacturing. Behind the scenes, our WMS and B2B customer portals deliver a faster, more reliable service, giving our customers real-time visibility and smoother ordering, whatever the volume or complexity of the requirement.

We supply both standard and custom-engineered components across carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, super alloys, duplex and non-ferrous metals, backed by expert coating guidance to ensure the right finish for the right environment. Whether that’s atmospheric corrosion resistance, chemical exposure or high-temperature performance.
